Lucile Browne

Before appearing in movies, Lucile Browne (1907-1976) won beauty contests in her home state of Florida, modelled in New York, and performed with a theatre group in Chicago. In 1935, she was John Wayne's co-star in Texas Terror and Rainbow Valley.
Ms. Browne married actor James Flavin in 1932. They remained married until he died of a heart attack in 1976. She passed away 17 days later.
