Joy Fawcett (sometimes appearing as Joyce Fawcett) is listed as a music teacher in the 1928 Toronto city directory. By 1936, she was teaching at the Toronto Conservatory of Music, where she originally studied. She is not listed in the 1937 directory; my best guess is that she got married.
A Google search for her turned up nothing, partly because there is a former American soccer player with that name.
Radio station CFCA was owned by the Toronto Daily Star. It started broadcasting in 1922 and stopped in 1933.
