- She married Charles Thomas Irvine "Pat" Roark, a British polo player, in 1938. She was known as Patsy Hostetter Smith at the time of her marriage, so her marriage to Capt. Roark was her second. He died in a practice match in 1939, five weeks after she gave birth to their son.
- She married Walter D. K. Gibson Jr. in 1941 and passed away in 1983 at the age of 70.
