Robert B. Konikow
Toronto Daily Star, July 30 1928

Various searches turned up a fair bit of information on Robert B. Konikow, as he became known:
- He lost a wrestling match in 1932. (This article gives his graduating year as 1933.)
- An article (now unfortunately no longer accessible) that stated that Mr. Konikow was drafted into the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) during the Second World War. The article mentions that Mr. Konikow had a background in mathematics but moved into the field of exhibition design.
- There are a number of books on exhibit design by Robert B. Konikow, including point-of-purchase and trade shows. He also wrote a book called Discover Historic America for Rand McNally. The Internet Archive has a collection of his books, which can be borrowed for one hour at a time.
The last of these was published in 1994 - assuming that this is still the same Robert B. Konikow, he would have been about 80 at the time of its publication. The 1994 book has an author photo of Mr. Konikow, and he does indeed look quite old in it.
- An ancestry page that lists him as having passed away in 2001.
