Barbara Bedford (1903-1981) had a film career that lasted from 1920 until the end of the Second World War, though she was cast only in uncredited bit parts after 1935. Later in life, she worked in retail sales.
Alan Roscoe (1888-1933) appeared in movies starting in 1915. He and Ms. Bedford did indeed remarry in 1930 but their second marriage was tragically cut short when he died of cancer in 1933. When he died, there was a dispute between Ms. Bedford and Wallace Beery over Roscoe's life insurance policy: she maintained that it was intended for her daughter's education and Beery claimed that the money was owed to him for debts.
